It’s a new day at the Yass Railway Museum, we are building new displays and exploring the fascinating past of the Yass region and its rich tram way and railway history, and we need your help.
Did you work on the Yass Railways, were you there when the railway played a vital part of the Yass economy and was at the heart of community life. Or do you know any stories about the Yass region’s railway history, or do you have photos of the rolling stock and trains in all their glory, or have you kept newspaper clippings, if you do, we would love to hear from you.
We are interested in collecting and recording oral histories and sharing your photos, stories and newspaper clipping with the wider Yass regional community, and anyone who has a passion for trains and tram ways through displays, storytelling and visual mediums at the Yass Railway Museum.
